GearMinder is a gear management system for experimental aircraft with a retractable gear. Unlike conventional systems that sound an alarm if the gear is still up when the power is reduced below a fixed threshold, GearMinder is a complete gear management system. It generates a warning if the configuration of the landing gear is inappropriate for the current phase of the flight. While the GearMinder was developed with the Lancair IV in mind it can be used on any experimental aircraft with a retractable landing gear. It is available through Lancair Inc.
